Titus County deputies apprehend one suspect, another still at large

The Titus County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for one felony suspect after apprehending another one Dec. 5.

Christopher John Stephens, 52, was arrested in Omaha Wednesday evening after individuals provided information of his possible whereabouts. With assistance from the Omaha Police Department and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, Stephens was taken into custody and is now in the Titus County Jail. Stephens had an active warrant for burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony offense. Last known to be residing in Morris County, Stephens had connections to Morris County and was known to frequent locations where 8-liner machines are operated. He also had recent connections to the Marshall area in Harrison County and normally relied on others for transportation.

Still at large is Misty Nichole Mohr, 43, who has a warrant for the same offense. Known to reside in the northern part of Titus County, she frequents Talco and the southwestern area of Red River County. Her last known car is a red Chevy Cobalt with front-end damage.

Anyone who knowingly harbors, provides shelter, transportation or other assistance to a felony fugitive may also be charged with a felony offense. Anyone with timely information regarding the location of Mohr or information regarding anyone who may be harboring them in anyway is asked to contact the Titus County Sheriff’s Office at (903) 572-6641 and ask to speak with an investigator or other deputy.
