Honors students enjoy cultural trip

Northeast Texas Community College honors students recently returned from a cultural trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The group toured the Heard Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney, shopped in Frisco, saw one of Texas’ largest pipe organs at Stonebriar Community Church and attended an Allen Americans hockey game.
The trip was sponsored by Drs. Jim and Paula Archer and other friends of Honors Northeast. Visit ntcc.edu/honors to learn more about Honors Northeast and to preview their upcoming film on Texas cosmetics mogul Mary Kay, which premieres Feb. 16.
